Our Team

The people behind HopingHands

Our founding team brings together lived experience, legal expertise, and a shared passion for supporting autistic children and their families.

Janny Dago – Founder & Director, HopingHands CIC
Founder & Director

Janny Dago

Janny is the mother of a 14-year-old autistic child. It is her own journey — marked by moments of isolation, immense strength, and unwavering love — that led her to found HopingHands. Having experienced first-hand the lack of appropriate support available to families in her position, she decided to become the change she wished to see. Today, she drives HopingHands CIC's mission with purpose, compassion, and unshakeable dedication, transforming her deeply personal experience into collective hope for every family who walks the same path.

Ophelie Deky – Paralegal & Aspiring Solicitor, HopingHands CIC
Paralegal & Aspiring Solicitor

Ophelie Deky

Ophelie is the older sister of an autistic person. That bond is not just family — it is the reason she shows up every day. Currently building her legal career as a paralegal and aspiring solicitor, she brings meticulous attention to detail, a deep understanding of compliance, and genuine passion to everything she does for HopingHands CIC. Her commitment ensures that every aspect of our mission remains transparent, properly structured, and worthy of the trust placed in us by the families we serve.
